Dear America,
Please heed our clarion call for help to save democracy, specifically marginalize minority rule and the "wanna-be dictator" (General Milley's description).
We must marginalize minority rule and show the would-be dictator an orange jumpsuit or permanent banishment from public office.
Who and how? The political class cannot. They are polarized into paralysis. The Democrats and adult Republicans don't have the muscle, although we assume they have the will.
Enter the sleeping giant, the military-industrial establishment. General Milley's speech was poignant. Mark Esper is a leader in the civilian sector. Ask them to round up their colleagues and put pen to paper about upholding the Constitution against its domestic enemies. A bully pulpit. You, without guile with honor in service to the nation, speak out. Speak out. Please.
Take this proposal to our military and industrial base leadership and ask them to act.
